I've recently done this itinerary for my friend's birthday with a group of 12 persons, some who knew Thailand very well, and some for whom it was the first time, some with big budget, and some with smaller budget, and at the end, everybody loved the 2 weeks holidays between Bangkok and Phuket, so I decided to share it with you.

Day 1
Day 1 is quite relax, everyone comes from a long flight, so just checkin to SILQ hotel, good hotel with super luxury rooms and also normal rooms at very good rates, so that everyone can enjoy. It's also the perfect location near malls, restaurants and party places.
If you have some time in the afternoon, you can visit one of the big malls nearby, and start buying some alcohol and other necessary stuff ;)
In the evening you can have a look at the newest night market Jodds fairs, just a few drinks in soi cowboy, and get to bed early with the jetlag.
