I stayed 5 days in this apartment, and it's one of the best places I stayed in my life !! I found it on airbnb for around 250$ per night (3 bedrooms). Greenmarket Square is a historic and vibrant square located in the heart of old Cape Town, South Africa. It was built in 1696 as a burgher watch house and used by many over the years, from vegetable markets, parking lots, to slave markets. Today, it serves as a flea market that trades mainly African souvenirs, crafts, and curios. Near the center of the square lies a hand-operated pump which brings clean water from an underground river that runs through the city. During the apartheid era, Greenmarket Square often served as a destination for political protests due to its location near parliament and the ethnicity of its traders and shoppers. Its pedestrianized central area showcases bustling activity enjoyed by visitors and locals alike to explore its many offerings.

Note : Last time I went there was a lot of homeless people around, so it didn't feel safe.

The Bo-Kaap is an exciting vibrant area located in Cape Town, South Africa. It is a former racially segregated area and comprises of pre-1850 architecture, cobblestoned streets, and voorsteps - making it the oldest surviving residential neighborhood in the city.
