Skiing in Vilnius is a great way to enjoy the winter season. Located in Liepkalnis, there are 10 tracks, all of them are constantly maintained and taken care of. The tracks are classified by the level of complexity, therefore all skiers: beginners as well as professionals, will find they favourite route. There's also a skiing school where you can learn how to do it if you are new to skiing

This will be the most unique ice skating rink you've ever visited. It is located in a courtyard of Palace of Grand Dukes. The rink is illuminated by colorful lights and very cozy. You can also find few cafes to buy warm drinks after ice skating session

Kotrynos church was built in 1625. It's a baroque architecture gem and it had really a long and complicated history but in 2006 it was converted to a concert hall. It definitely has the best acoustics and it will be one of the most unique experiences to listen to music surrounded by beautiful art

Visit Local Market

In the 15th century, the site of the current marketplace was initially named the Horse Market. Later, in the 16th century, it became known as the Grain Market, when, after the city wall was built, it found itself in the suburbs. In 1906, at the intersection of Pylimo and Bazilijonų Streets, a new market was erected, designed by Vilnius architect and engineer Vaclovas Michnevičius with help from local entrepreneur Petras Vileišis. For a long time, the building now known as Halės Market continued to be called the Grain Market, and only in 1914 did the name Halės Market take over. This is the oldest marketplace still operating in Vilnius.
Here you will find fresh traditional Lithuanian products as well as international shops like best Onigiri shop, Greek shop or Venezuelan snacks shop. You can also visit the rooftop of the market. If you're looking at the main entrance, turn right and go on the side of the market. You will see metal stairs, go up and explore!

Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre is the largest theatre of the country. The venue of the theatre, designed by the architect Elena Nijolė Bučiūtė, was opened in 1974. The information presented at the Centre for Civil Education is created together with the visitors: with modern technologies, everyone is invited to create a personal relationship with the presented material and share opinions, turning the exhibition spaces into a forum for discussion.

This museum is located in the first central power station in Vilnius. It destroys the established stereotypes of a traditional museum. Here you will get down to the cobblestone courtyard of the Medieval pottery to find the fingerprints of the ancient Balts in the restored amulets of famous Juodkrantė treasure, reflecting the beliefs dating back forty centuries

For 115 years, Lukiškės Prison was guarded by high walls and barbed wire, but today the site is open to the public. From prison to artistic venue, a new version of it is home to 250 creators and artists, and a place where curious spirits can learn and explore. Now you can sit down for a drink here or attend a concert .Stranger Things season 4 was also filmed in this prison. Take a tour to get a glimpse of life in the former prison.
